- MECHANICAL or CIVIL ENGINEER - in Christchurch or Timaru,  full time permanent/contract

- STATUTORY PECPR INSPECTOR - Cranes, Pressure  Vessels, Boilers etc in Timaru, Dunedin or Christchurch

We are currently reinforcing our operations in New Zealand and wish to recruit a: Statutory Pressure Vessel & Crane Inspector. The role is focused on supporting the present Design Engineering business and servicing our clients needs through statutory inspection of their cranes and lifting equipment and their pressure vessels/piping in accordance with the NZ PECPR regulations.  Although the function is mainly operational there will also be an administrative, marketing and sales component. We have an energetic team and are looking for a cheerful, outgoing individual, who is a team player and is not afraid to undertake new initiatives. The position will involve travel within New Zealand and abroad. The successful applicant must have/be:

CBIP (or equivalent) certified for Pressure Equipment inspections - (Statutory Pressure Vessel Inspector)·        

CBIP certification for crane inspections (all classes) - (Statutory Crane Inspector) ·         Strong background and minimum 5 Years experience with statutory inspections, Industry Operations, repair and or New Construction.·        

A reliable, positive and practical approach of problems.·        

Strong communication and organizational skills.·        

The ability and flexibility to work independently and as part of a team.·
