NEWS FLASH

Design Engineering made a significant investment in 2012 by purchasing Acoustic Emission (AE) and High Voltage (HV) equipment for inspecting/testing elevating work platforms and bucket liners.

EWPs require AE to be carried out 2-yearly in accordance with the ACOP and HV Dielectric testing 6 monthly and yearly for bucket liners.
This testing can be done in conjunction with 6-monthly periodic inspections resulting in immediate cost savings to customers.

This means Design Engineering can provide a “one
 stop shop”
service for EWPs, ie 6-monthly safety certifications, AE Testing, HV testing, NDT and 5/10 yr major inspections plus we can do other HV testing including poles, mats, saws, transformers etc.

Design Engineering is the only company in NZ offering this EWP service.
